My Story
Beka Nemsitsveridze
I began my legal practice in 2006. Until 2019, I maintained a private legal practice in civil and criminal law. From 2019 to 2022, I served as a partner and director of various law firms, and in 2022, I founded Nemsitsveridze Law Firm.
At the beginning of my professional career, I worked on both civil and criminal cases. Over time, criminal law became the principal focus of my practice, including complex and extensive criminal proceedings where effective defence depends on a detailed analysis of evidence, an accurate assessment of the factual and legal circumstances of the case, and a carefully developed defence strategy.
Over nearly two decades of practice, I have worked on cases of varying complexity and public significance, including criminal proceedings involving serious and particularly serious offences. My practice covers defence from the earliest stages of an investigation through proceedings before courts of all instances, as well as international legal proceedings and extradition cases.
Throughout my practice, my work has contributed to full acquittals, termination of criminal proceedings, modification or reduction of charges, and other significant legal outcomes for clients.
My professional approach is based on a comprehensive and independent analysis of each case. A defence strategy should not be limited to responding to the materials presented by the prosecution. It requires the independent collection and assessment of evidence, engagement of experts where necessary, identification of procedural violations, and careful examination of every factual and legal circumstance relevant to the case.
The establishment of Nemsitsveridze Law Firm in 2022 was a continuation of this long-standing practice. The firm was founded to bring together lawyers with different areas of specialization and to develop a practice in which complex matters can benefit, where necessary, from the coordinated work of an experienced legal team.
Today, I lead the firm and remain personally involved in its significant cases. At the same time, our team represents clients in criminal, civil, administrative, corporate, and other areas of law.
